Stress is an inescapable part of life. We have evolved to deal with it on an intermittent basis. When the stress eases we can relax, recover and adapt. If the stress isn’t easing, break up the stress response with any of the audios on this playlist. 5 minutes every 2-3 hours is extremely helpful.

When stress is prolonged, or severe, we can’t recover. When recovery time is limited, we can’t adapt. this leads to burnout.

Fatigue, lack of motivation, increased tendency to infections, lack of enjoyment, insomnia, anxiety and depression are all features of burnout.

Burnout is the common end result and can be caused by many things such as stress, sleep deprivation, ill health (e.g. cancer treatment), relationship issues, work problems, financial problems and even overtraining in athletes.

If you can’t stop the stress, try to change the Stress Response (Fight and Flight Response)
